Gather.com gets started

Once you get past all the New England Patriots' hoopla Boston.com's top news story right now is about Gather.com, a 'one-stop site for blogs'. This is a Massachusetts start-up that is going to pay bloggers based on advertising revenue. Could be an interesting concept, if it works. I'm always a little cautious about these things, but I'll be watching for their future announcements for sure. It's up and running right now, but apparently there is more coming in March, including the announcement of the pay model.

Just a little tidbit this morning. Thanks for stopping by.

This could prove to be very interesting... I just might have to sign myself up for this...

Then I heard them as a supporting sponsor of NPR as I was driving in to work this morning, which pretty much seals the deal I think.

Thank you for sharing this interesting tidbit!

Tim - you would be an excellent addition to any group you joined. They will be lucky to have you!
